About Larry
Larry Medcalfe is a former pastor, counselor, and teacher. He lives in Indianapolis, IN with his wife, and has two grown sons and seven grandchildren.

He is presently the chaplain and event manager for Chalkguy Media International. At the heart of CMI is Ben Glenn, nationally renowned speaker and artist of encouragement. Ben speaks to student groups, teacher groups, parent groups, and Christian groups all over the country challenging them with messages of hope and encouragement. His messages are enhanced by his infectious, down-home humor, his mezmerizing chalk art, and his inspiring life’s journey of turning his struggles with ADHD and Dsylexia into something quite “special”. Larry travels with Ben, collaborates with Ben in writing ADHD and Christian resources, and joins forces with him in presenting programs for children and leadership development. Ben calls Larry his “living Ritalin”. They have just released an ADHD Rapid Reader entitled 8 Facts Every Teacher Needs to Know about ADHD. A second Rapid Reader, 10 Strategies for Teaching ADHD Students without Losing Your Mind, will be available in the Spring of 2010.
